Join us at our next meeting as we get ready for Hispanic Heritage Month with an overview of our local Hispanic/Latino population and how to reach them through local Hispanic radio and newspapers. The Hispanic/Latino population is one of the fastest growing demographics in our region. Here is your chance to find out more about how to communicate with them.

Many of us know Audrey Knoth as Executive Vice President of Goldman & Associates Public Relations. Those in the Hispanic community know her as the co-host of the morning radio program, "Hasta El Tope" (To the top) on WVXX Selecta 1050 AM, the Spanish-language radio station in Hampton Roads. The morning show offers up local news and weather, public affairs interviews, Hispanic contemporary music, entertainment and listener call-ins, all in Spanish.

Audrey will be joined by general sales manager Dave Bowling in a discussion of who makes up the Hispanic market and what their media habits are.

Rounding out the discussion will be Regina Freemont-Gomez, editor/publisher of Tidewater Hispanic News, a Spanish-language newspaper that has been serving the local Hispanic community for over a decade.
